IC Philanthropy

In 2009, IC Philanthropy was established by the IC Council to teach tennis to disadvantaged children. In some communities, the sport provides an alternative path from life on the streets and the dangers of drugs and crime.

Our programmes also support young people with disabilities to improve their physical and mental skills whilst enjoying the company of others.

Meet a member: James Cluskey, IC of Ireland Former Davis Cup player @jcluskey joined the IC of Ireland in 2016 and was on the committee from 2018 to 2020. He is also an overseas member of the IC of Great Britain, and now lives in London. James first got involved in the IC when one of the Irish members recruited him to play a match: “I had a great time meeting people from different generations. I think it’s very social and I love to play
