IC Grand Slam Reunion
Founded in 2026 by the IC of Australia, the IC Grand Slam Reunion by Deltroit is a unique international gathering of IC members, held in conjunction with the four Grand Slam tournaments. It brings together former Grand Slam players from across the world to compete, reconnect, and share memorable experiences around the sport’s most prestigious events.
Host IC:
The IC Grand Slam Reunion by Deltroit is held bi-annually alongside each Grand Slam tournament on a rotational basis by their respective ICs:
- Australian Open (IC of Australia)
- Roland-Garros (IC of France)
- Wimbledon (IC of Great Britain)
- US Open (IC of USA)
Each host IC organises its own edition of the Reunion, welcoming IC members from around the world.
Dates and location:
- January 2026: Melbourne, Australia
- August/ September 2028 TBC: New York, USA
- July 2030 TBC: Wimbledon, Great Britain
- May 2032 TBC: Paris, France
Format:
The event typically features friendly but competitive matches between the host IC vs. the IC ‘Rest of the World’ team, with each team led by high profile captains. Events are generally organised across multiple age categories, including doubles and mixed doubles, such as:
- Open (up to 3 men and 3 women)
- Over 45 (up to 3 men and 3 women)
- Over 65 (up to 3 men and 3 women)
- Over 80 (up to 3 men and 3 women)
The exact format may vary depending on the host IC and local organisation.
The GSR is an event for all IC members who have played Grand Slam tennis, main draw or qualifying, and juniors since 1988, with the possibility.
Eligibility:
Participation is open to IC members who:
- Have competed in a Grand Slam event, main draw or qualifying (plus juniors from 1988)
OR
- Are nominated by their IC or the Tournament committee for one of a limited number of discretionary wildcards.
The Reunion is designed to be inclusive, allowing former players from different generations to take part.
