Virginia Wade: "I have always had very fond memories of my experiences with the IC. My first was when I was a junior and I was invited to play in a friendly match including some of the very best players in the country, an event that was so inspiring to me. The IC has continued to create so many occasions which incorporate experience and talent along with a mix of ages. This has strengthened the links in the chain from one generation of tennis players to the next and formed an enduring bond between those of different countries."
Vijay Armitraj: "The IC is a very special body that I am proud to have been a part of for many years. The values of the IC, bringing people together from different religions and cultures, backgrounds and nationalities, creates a wonderful friendship between countries, something that has always been very important to me. In the James Bond file "Octopussy", I wore an IC scarf in one of the best scenes in the film, just another testament to the reach and goodwill of the IC. I look forward to the work of the IC in the future, helping to make the world a better place for the generations to come."
Michael Stich: "I am happy that I am able to address you as a member of the International Tenis Club of Germany and as Vice President of the Council. The goal of IC's and the goal of all of us is to promote the game of tennis in the world. It is one of the best sports that you can play and we have to make sure that the beauty of our sport will be brought to people across the world. Please help us in our work and support the game of tennis."
