Argentina win the South American IC Junior Challenge Argentina win the South American IC Junior Challenge
At a great weekend in Buenos Aires it was Chile, Uruguay and Argentina who battled to be the first IC Junior team team to qualify for The Compass Worldwide IC Finals in Monte Carlo next year. It was Argentina who emerged as the winner with Uruguay taking second place over Chile.

Along with the Challenge a memorable clinic was held for disadvantaged children. This was with the participation of players in the event, plus distinguished Argentine former circuit players (all members of the IC) such as Gabriela Sabatini (former US Open Champion), Juan Ignacio Chela (recently retired circuit and Davis Cup player), Julian Ganzabal (former Argentina’s #1), and Gustavo Luza (former circuit player and Davis Cup Captain). 2015 IC AGM 2015 IC AGM
The 2015 IC AGM was held at the LTA Training Centre, Roehampton on July 5th. It was attended by 37 of the 40 ICs and after a working group session in the morning the formal proceedings of the AGM took place in the afternoon. The organisation reported a very busy programme of matches and there are a number of IC Weeks already in the future calendar. Leonie Grondel of S Africa was elected to the IC Council

It was a sad day for tennis in South Africa and in particular for the International Club of South Africa when we learned of the passing of our dear tennis friend John de St Croix.

John was very active with the International Club South Africa having been a member for many years. He has held the positions of Club Captain, Secretary, Treasurer and above all President from 2001-2006. Read more...
