Barry Weatherill retires as Chairman

The AGM of the IC Council was held on Sunday 1 July 2012 at the National Tennis Centre in Roehampton, London. The day started with break-out sessions where delegates from the various ICs present discussed possible ways forward on a number of issues such as organising events, governance, membership and funding of clubs, charitable activities and marketing and communications.

The AGM itself was chaired for the last time by Barry Weatherill who after 22 years as Chairman has stepped down and handed over to Peter McQuibban. Marco Gilardelli, who himself is also stepping down from the Executive Committee, gave a nice speech and together with Gustavo Herrero handed over a crystal carafe with inscription to thank Barry for all he had done during his long association with the Council.
