Unfortunately, the IC of Pakistan withdraw from the 2016 Columbus Trophy held in New Delhi, India

Despite the IC of Pakistan’s best efforts to ensure their trip to India for the 2016 Columbus Trophy proceeds, they have understandably elected to withdraw from this year’s event. As the political situation surrounding the two countries intensifies, the safety of all IC members remains a priority and both IC’s have reluctantly agreed that this is the appropriate decision at this moment in time.

The IC of Pakistan, still invite and hope to welcome the IC of India to visit Lahore in Spring 2017, and both clubs hope that the situation improves by then so that this fixture can go ahead.

The IC of Argentina, Great Britain, Belgium, France and Japan are still set to travel and compete against two teams from the IC of India. This year’s Columbus Trophy is held on 1st-6th November in New Delhi, with each team consisting of two men over the age of 55 and two over the age of 65, and is set to be yet another competitive and enjoyable event.
