August 2012 Franz Feldbausch (81), co-founder and long-standing president of the German IC, passed away Franz Feldbausch (81), co-founder and long-standing president of the German IC, passed away Franz Feldbausch served as president of the IC of Germany from 1978 until 2007. He furthermore was vice-president of the German Tennis Federation and member of the ITF Juniors Committee. He received many awards during his lifetime, among others the ITF award "for service to the game" and the Federal Cross of Merit. We lost a charismatic personality, who lived our claim "hands across the net, friendship over the ocean.
