Report 2 from the IC Junior Challenge World-wide Finals

On the tennis courts today the same three winning teams from the first day of Germany, South Africa and Argentina all continued their winning ways.  The overall match results were:

Germany 5   USA 1               Argentina 4   Australia 2     South Africa 5  India 1

So there should be some really competitive matches later in the week and those who have lost so far will have a better chance at some wins.

As well as the juniors getting a great tennis playing experience they are being treated to some wonderful off court experiences by our Australian friends.  At lunchtime on day two Brad Gilbert , Mark Woodforde and Tommy Haas came and gave our IC group a personal talk and answered  questions about tennis   - many photos were taken by our juniors with them !  Then last night they went to the WCT (World Tennis Challenge) event where they saw current stars such as Alexander Dolgoplov, Michael LLodra, Stan Warwrinka and Tommy Haas plus past greats such as John McEnroe and Pat Rafter.  They were also royally entertained by the tennis antics of Henri Leconte and Monsour Bahrami !  I wonder if any of them will be trying some of that on the courts today ?

While I am writing this they are visiting the Adelaide Zoo before resuming tennis again this afternoon.

Then click "Read more" just above this and it should go to a "Results" page to click on.

If our results don't appear at once there are two small boxes on this site.   The first should be set to "2012" if not already and the second should read "IC"

Then on the results of matches click "view" after each team match and detailed results of each players matches should come up. It also shows overall match result plus sets and games won at the top of each country match.
