Obituary - Gene Scott

It is with great sadness to communicate that Gene Scott died on Monday night 20/3/2006 of heart disease. Gene was a great 'IC Man' and served as President of the IC of USA from 1968 to 1998 and then as Chairman until 2005. He was a former top professional player, US Davis Cup Captain, tournament director and publisher of Tennis Week the International tennis magazine.Our deepest condolences go to his family and friends. His presence and stature in the tennis world will be sorely missed.
