 Welcome to the International Lawn Tennis Club of Hungary website

The IC was formed in 1995 and has 45 members

The names of former or current International players who are members of the Hungarian IC include:

Szabolcs Baranyi former Davis Cup player and current Davis Cup Coach for Hungary.

Zsuzsa Körmöczi: former winner of Roland Garros/1958 semi-finalist at Wimbledon.

Erzsèbet Ambrus, Rita Kovacsics, Zsuzsa Turi – former players of Federation Cup team.

Geza Varga, Andras Szöcsik – former Davis Cup team members.

Miklos Birkas, Tamas Hamori, Peter Nagy, Zoltan Fabian, Matyas Nagy – winners of the Hungarian Championships.

The IC was formed in 1995 by two people namely Ladislas Grosz, who has a double nationality, (French and Hungarian) and is a member of the Racing Club in Paris and a sponsor of the Hungarian Tennis Association and Tamas Hamori, a long-time representative of the Hungarian Tennis Association to Tennis Europe and the International Tennis Federation.

They both decided to form the IC in Hungary made up of players who had represented their country in International competition.

The IC organise home matches and meetings abroad taking part regularly in different Team Championships including IC Weeks and Columbus Trophy.
